In Part 1, we discussed what Doggy PlayDating is all about and why it’s a fantastic opportunity for you and your furry friend. Now, let’s dive into the process of signing up, how introductions between dogs will go, and the incredible types of PlayDates they can have. Let the fun begin! ๐พโค๏ธ
Signing Up for Doggy PlayDating
Getting started with Doggy PlayDating is as easy as a wag of a tail! To begin the adventure, you’ll need to fill out our Doggy PlayDating application on behalf of your pup. Don’t worry; we understand they might lack thumbs and typing skills! ๐พ๐
The application is very detailed!
This is a very detailed questionnaire on purpose, we want to start with all the details to have the best possible experience for everyone.ย Take your time and remember that we’ll be using that information to create your pups PlayDating Profile, go ahead and be creative!
Our dedicated team of MuttMatchMakers (MMM) will review each application thoroughly. We consider factors such as size, age, play style, overall compatibility, as well as location and day each dog is looking for a PlayDate.ย
While waiting for our MMM to find the perfect fur friend for your perfect fur friend weโll visit your pup on a weekly schedule, on the day(s) and time each week that is most ideal for their playdate, so that we can establish a relationship with and understanding of each dog.ย ย
The Introductions – Love at First (or sometimes 2nd) Sniff
Once we’ve found a potential match for your dog, it’s time for the all-important introduction!ย We believe in the power of first impressions, so each dog will be picked up by their own MuttMatchMaker (AKA: Pet Care Specialists), and brought to a neutral and comfortable setting for the initial meeting. It’s a chance for the pups to get to know each other and determine if they hit it off. ๐พโค๏ธ
Our experienced PlayDating chaperones will be there to guide the introductions and ensure a smooth process. Just like in human dating, this first playdate acts as a test run, allowing the dogs to work out any anticipation jitters and assess their compatibility.ย If we need to do multiple slow introductions to ensure perfect harmony, we will.ย We want to create lasting friendships and make sure both dogs have a pawsitive experience! ๐พ๐ค
Types of PlayDates – Tailored to Each Pup’s Fun Preferences
At Barks & Recreation, we believe in personalized experiences for every pup. Each PlayDate is designed to cater to the specific interests and preferences of your furry friend. Here are some of the types of PlayDates your dog can have:
๐พ Playful Ball Chasers: If your dog loves chasing balls, we’ll match them with a fellow fetch enthusiast for hours of spirited play. They’ll race to be the first to retrieve the ball and have a barking good time! โก๏ธ๐พ
๐คผโโ๏ธ Wrestlemania Warriors: For the rough-and-tumble dogs who enjoy a friendly wrestling match, we’ll pair them
Lilo & Linus enjoy toy tug on their PlayDates
with another pooch who can handle the fun. They’ll engage in a playful bout, showing off their strength and agility while building their bond. ๐๐คผโโ๏ธ
๐ฆฎ Adventurous Hikers: If your pup loves the great outdoors, they’ll have a paw-some time on a sniffy hike with their new adventure buddy. They’ll explore nature’s wonders, soak up the fresh air, and forge an unbreakable connection along the trails. ๐ณ๐ถโโ๏ธ
Of course there are also the Stop & Sniffers, the Chase Me types, the Just Walk Quietly With Me ones, and many many more. Don’t worry, we’ve got it!
Remember, each PlayDate is customizable to ensure it’s a paw-fect fit for your dog’s interests and activity level. Our goal is to make every PlayDate a source of joy, enrichment, and pure tail-wagging happiness! ๐งก๐พ
